He is...

Reflecting on last night's worship session reminds us that God is all-powerful and is working all around us and through us.  We prayed that God would do something that only He can do while we are at Oasis.  "Ask and you shall receive, seek and you will find."  We asked Him, and He answered.  

Bill spoke truth from the Word, and God used him mightily.  Josh and the band led us in a tremendous time of praise.  Students FOCUSed (our theme has been FOCUS) on the Lord with their whole hearts last night, and He showed Himself to be the strong Savior.  One of our guys had a collision with The God of the universe last night.  He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior.  To God be the glory!

We wish we had time to tell you about the many amazing stories from camp.  God has done great things among us!  He is God, He is Lord, He is sovereign, He is healing and He is mighty to save!

Amazing Grace!

God is blessing our time here at camp. Yesterday was truly amazing. We kicked off the day with each of our students spending time with the Lord on their own. From there, we had our morning celebration - a high energy worship session.
Last night, our worship time was truly awesome. Josh Via and his band are leading with integrity and our students are joining them in worship. Bill has been bringing great messages from the Word, and our students are being challenged to focus on the Lord. He mentioned that following Jesus is a risk worth taking.
Tenth Avenue North held a personal concert for Ingleside last night! The concert was spectacular! I must tell that that TAN is a group of regular, humble, God-loving guys and they were a real joy to work with. I would totally recommend you buying their CD - Over and Underneath. I loved them before last night, and now I'm an even bigger fan! They actually ate dinner with our students and hung out with them after the show. During the concert, the lead singer challenged our students to truly love the Lord as the bride of Christ.
Scooter and I were talking last night, and we agreed that this camp has been incredible so far. We're so thankful that our church is supporting such a great ministry opportunity. We're thankful to all the parents who entrusted their students to our care. Oasis has been awesome so far, and great things are in store!

Great First Night!

Last night was an incredible night of worship! Josh Via and his band led music with integrity and humility! God was glorified, and our students responded to His greatness. Bill spoke with boldness and connected quickly with our students.
Overall, last night couldn't have gone any better.
We also had late night with Philip and Justin Bartuska. These guys were hilarious and did a great job. I'm so thankful for two young men of God who love ministering to students.
We are looking forward to another great day of camp.
Pray for:
- students and leaders to focus on God.
- distractions to fade away.
- God to do something only He can do.
- us to decrease so that He can increase.

We're here!

Hello everyone!
We arrived today (ahead of schedule) and we are having a blast so far. We are setting up for tonight and it looks like our worship session is going to be incredible! Pray for us tonight, that the Spirit of God would move freely throughout our group. Pray that God will penetrate our hearts as we sing to Him and hear His Word taught.
It's raining a little and it's pretty windy. Still, we are pumped about what God is going to do.

We are getting pumped about camp! Our team has been working hard, and we're ready for an amazing Oasis! We can't wait to see everyone on Friday morning at 5:30 a.m. Great things are in store!
